How to turn off iPhone when screen doesn’t work

If your iPhone screen is cracked and you can’t access the power button, here are a few ways to turn off the device to prevent loss of data:

  1. Use AssistiveTouch: Go to “Settings” > “Accessibility” > “Touch” > “AssistiveTouch” and toggle the switch on. A small button will appear on your screen. Tap this button and select “Device” > “Lock Screen” to turn off your iPhone.
  2. Use Siri: Press and hold the home button to activate Siri and say “Turn off my iPhone.” Siri will ask you to confirm the action, and once you do, the device will turn off.
